Generation Mortgage Co. is expanding in Buckhead, signing a lease for nearly 48,300 square feet of office space at Piedmont Center North Building 3, an almost 29,300-square-foot increase in space for the Atlanta-based reverse mortgage lender.

Is this a sign things are looking up for mortgage lenders?

The company, which said it expects to grow in 2010, signed a 10-year lease. The transaction value is estimated at $10 million.
