The Professional Association of Georgia Educators Foundation honors students who receive the highest scores on the SAT, the college entrance examination, and have grade-point averages in the top 10 percent of their classes. The foundation designates STAR students through the Student Teacher Achievement Recognition program. Each STAR students then choses a teacher as his or her STAR teacher.

In our last edition, the Buckhead Reporter ran photographs of STAR students from most Buckhead high schools. Here are the STAR student and STAR teacher for the Atlanta Girls’ School, who were omitted unintentionally from the prior list.
