A time for reflection

On the first day back at E. Rivers Elementary, Emily Henegar (wearing glasses) and Yue Yu begin work on self-portraits that ultimately will find their way onto T-shirts. The students got instruction and help with their creative projects from art teacher Phil Alexander-Cox. Henegar and Yu are students in Mrs. Marsha Cherichel’s fifth-grade class at E. Rivers.
