To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Sandy Springs Festival—originally known as Founders Day—Heritage Sandy Springs is partnering with local businesses to offer 25 days of special discount offers beginning Wednesday, Sept. 1, and leading up to the festival Sept. 25-26.

The first of the daily specials, offered Sept. 1, provides 20 percent off a purchase at Cold Stone Creamery, 640 Johnson Ferry Road, when you mention the Sandy Springs Festival.

“The 25 Days of the Festival is a great way to involve local businesses, restaurants and sponsors to get the community excited about the 25th annual Sandy Springs Festival,” said Festival Director Christy Nickles.

Other offers during the first 5 days of the promotion include:

  • Sept. 2: At Breadwinner, 175 Mount Vernon Highway N.E., mention the Sandy Springs Festival and receive two loaves for $25;
  • Sept. 3: At The Scarlet Tassel in Sandy Springs Plaza, receive a free sample candle tin to burn in your home;
  • Sept. 4: At the Sandy Springs Farmer’s Market, visit M.E. Amore and mention the Sandy Springs Festival and receive $2 off your purchase (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m);
  • Sept. 5: Grits Bits will give a 10 percent off your order when you call 404-0261-2197.

Visit www.sandyspringsfestival.com for a complete list of participating businesses and promotions through Sept. 25.

The Sandy Springs Festival is the primary fundraiser for Heritage Sandy Springs, a non-profit organization dedicated to building community through preserving and promoting the city’s historic and cultural identity.

Festival features include the Doug Kessler Lightning 5K/10K race, juried Artist’s Market, Business and Civic Expo, Children’s Park, Porsche Cars North America Collector Car Show, Kiwanis Pet Parade, Heritage Crafters, live entertainment, Optech Food Court, Whole Foods Heritage Homegrown Market, Saint Joseph’s Hospital Health & Wellness Area.

Sandy Springs Festival will be held at Heritage Green, 6075 Sandy Springs Circle, and the surrounding area.  Festival hours are 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.  Adults (age 18+) may purchase a single day pass for $5 and a two-day pass for $7.  Youth (ages 6-17) may attend a single day for $2 and two days for $3.  Heritage Sandy Springs members receive free passes and children age 5 and under get in free.
