A group of conservative rabbis will hear U.S. Vice President Joe Biden speak at the Westin Perimeter Hotel in Sandy Springs on  Tuesday morning, May 8.

Biden will address the The Rabbinical Assembly, the international group of 1,600 conservative rabbis, according to a press release for the event. He is scheduled to speak at 10:30 a.m.

U.S. Rep. John Lewis, D-Atlanta, will also attend the event.

The convention starts May 6 and ends May 9.

There will also be a discussion on the Jewish ethical implications of medical decisions, featuring Dr. Paul Root Wolpe, director of the Center of Ethics at Emory University and Dr. Elliot Dorff, professor at The American Jewish University who also teaches medical and legal ethics at the UCLA medical and law schools, the press release says.
