Atlanta Food Truck Park back in business

After a permitting snafu, the Atlanta Food Truck Park has reopened, the park’s owners say.

According to http://atlantafoodtruckpark.com the permitting issues that shut it down only a few weeks after it opened on April 26 are being resolved.

The food truck park is on Howell Mill Road in Buckhead.

“Thanks to the help of our friends (Councilman) Kwanza Hall, the Atlanta Police Department, City Hall and the Atlanta Street Food Coalition, your favorite food trucks are now acquiring the proper vending permits for Atlanta Food Truck Park,” the group’s website says. “Over the next couple of days more and more food trucks will make appearances at the AFTP!”

The permits in question were not related to food safety. The website said the park was properly permitted, but individual trucks needed separate  permits.

The owners say they are planning a “Take-Two – Grand Opening Party.”
