Two-year anniversary of murder sparks new push from police
Dunwoody Police are still looking for clues about the murder of Roger and Dorothy Abbot on the second anniversary of the crime.
On July 1, 2010, the longtime Dunwoody residents were found dead in their Peeler Road home when DeKalb County firefighters responded to a fire. A neighbor had noticed smoke coming from the home and called 911. Dunwoody Police responded when it became clear the couple had been murdered before the fire started.
Two years later, the Dunwoody Police Department has started a renewed push to solve this crime and is reaching out to the community and family for any information regarding this incident.
The Dunwoody Police Department has created a YouTube video about the homicide: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nUzC68pQGs.
