A Westminster Schools student faces charges of sexually assaulting another student in the showers of the prestigious private school’s gymnasium.
Atlanta Police charged the student with aggravated sexual battery in connection with the alleged incident. The student charged with the crime is a member of the school’s football team.
The alleged incident happened on Oct. 22. The student turned himself in on Oct. 28, Atlanta Police said.
The department has declined comment, citing the ongoing investigation.
