Voters head to the polls on Nov. 6

What is on the ballot and where do you vote? The main event is the U.S. presidential election, but there are other races on the ballot, too.

For a sample ballot, visit sos.ga.gov/MVP. Personalized voting information can be found by visiting sos.ga.gov/MVP for the Georgia Secretary of State’s My Voter Page. You will be able to obtain a sample ballot and get an exact polling location.

For people without Internet access, call the following numbers: Fulton County Election Commission, 404-612-7020; DeKalb County Election Commission, 404-298-4020.

When are the polls open? 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Any voter waiting in line at

7 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

What do I need to bring? Voters should present one of the following forms of identification: a Georgia driver’s license, a voter ID card, a U.S. passport, an employee ID card for federal employees, a military ID, a tribal ID.
