Park Location

The Perimeter Community Improvement Districts plan to hold a public meeting April 22 to begin developing a plan for a new 5-acre park near the Dunwoody MARTA station.

The meeting is scheduled from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Dunwoody City Council chambers in Dunwoody City Hall, 41 Perimeter Center East. A second public meeting is planned for May.

People attending the meeting may offer suggestions on what amenities should be included in the park, said Jennifer Harper, program manager for the PCIDs. “The goal of the public meeting is to review site opportunities, early site concepts, park options and to begin to create the Master Plan for these 5 acres,” the PCIDs said in a press release.

The PCIDs plan to develop the park on private property near the intersection of Hammond Drive and Perimeter Center Parkway.
