The suspect in a Sandy Springs bank robbery earlier this month has been captured and arrested.

Darrius King, 22, of Norcross faces charges of robbery by intimidation and aggravated assault. He was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Norcross and is being held at the Fulton County jail.

The Sandy Springs Police Department announced the arrest Sept. 22 on social media.

King is accused of robbing the Wells Fargo on Roswell Road on Sept. 6. According to a Sandy Springs police report, the suspect entered the bank and gave a note to a bank teller demanding $5,000.

No weapon was displayed during the robbery.
