Country music artists Craig Morgan with special guest Keith Anderson are the headliners for  Saturday, March 24, at Brookhaven’s Cherry Blossom Festival.

Live entertainment for Sunday, March 25, will be announced in the coming weeks. The festival will be at Blackburn Park.

Morgan, a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2008, is also a TV personality, outdoorsman with his own show, “Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors,” and Army veteran. He announced last month that a docu-series about his family, “Morgan Family Strong,” will air on UP TV this spring and will be about his family’s farming business and as a tribute to the sudden passing of his son.

Morgan’s hit songs include “Bonfire,” “Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club” and “That’s What I Love About Sunday.” His newest album, “A Whole Lot More to Me,” features singles “I’ll Be Home Soon” and “When I’m Gone.”

Keith Anderson’s top hits include “Pickin’ Wildflowers,” “Every Time I Hear Your Name,” “I Still Miss You” and “Sunday Morning in America.” He’s also been named one of People Magazine’s “50 Hottest Bachelors” and Men’s Fitness Magazine’s “Ultimate Country Star.”

The City Council last month approved $125,000 to pay for nationally known music acts to come to this year’s festival. The city is working with Live Nation to secure the acts.

  1. $125,000 for a Caucasian country music act, but the city allegedly doesn’t have enough money to cover the police force in areas with people of color.

    Btw, whatever happened to the luxury restroom$$$ they were pushing for District 1’s park?
