Art Sandy Springs President Bernadine Richard (in middle) poses in front of “Spooky Tooth” with Lynne Walker and Leonard Mason, who chaired the May 15 event where the seven-foot-tall stainless steel sculpture was selected by a jury from 10 finalists.  “Spooky Tooth” was created by sculptor Andrew Crawford of Atlanta. The nonprofit organization Art Sandy Springs will donate the sculpture to the city of Sandy Springs and for the next year will display it at the Sandy Springs public library on Mount Vernon Highway. The sculptures of the other nine finalists also will be displayed at the library. The artworks will be moved in the next couple of months. Art Sandy Springs will hold a public unveiling in September.
