They called the place “Mesh Corners” at one point because the Meshes owned land on three of the corners, Laurenthia Mesh said. Recently, Mesh, at left, brought a new farmer’s market to her family corner, where Johnson Ferry and Ashford Dunwoody roads cross in Brookhaven. The market is open Thursdays from 4 to 8 p.m. One recent Thursday, Sarah Cooper, 4, below, loaded up on fresh bell peppers grown by Loganville farmer Lynn Teddlie, below left, who also offered squash, okra, eggplant and home-grown garlic. In addition to vegetables, Mesh said, vendors at the outdoor market sell cookies, bread, soap, grass-fed meat and tamales.
