The next class of the Dunwoody Police Department’s Citizen’s Police Academy will begin July 24.

The academy is a 10-week course held on Tuesday nights from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Participants learn about a variety of topics within law enforcement, including traffic enforcement, gangs, special weapons and tactics, community outreach, crime scenes and evidence.
