The Brookhaven Reporter is compiling video profiles of candidates running for a seat on the first Brookhaven City Council.  The ground rules are simple: candidates get about two minutes to make their pitch to voters and we post the unedited clip on Reporternewspapers.net. The idea is to help voters put a face and a voice to the people running to represent their interests. (If you’re a candidate, scroll to the bottom of this article for information about how to make your appointment to shoot a video profile.)

Check out the video profile of District 3 City Council candidate Julia Russo:

Are you a candidate who wants to shoot a video? To arrange a time to shoot a video profile, contact Associate Editor and Digital Content Manager Dan Whisenhunt at 404-917-2200, ext. 113, or email him at danwhisenhunt@reporternewspapers.net. Shooting takes 10 minutes or less.

We are not accepting prerecorded videos. The videos become part of a Reporternewspapers.net voter’s guide page containing photos, short biographies and a short Q&A with each candidate.
