7-7:30 p.m. – The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta commemorates the anniversary of Kristallnacht, or Night of Broken Glass. Program includes a brief ceremony, song performance by the Israeli Scouts, and lighting of six torches representing Jewish lives lost in the Holocaust. At 7:30 p.m., the MJCCA Book Festival features Harry Rosenfeld, who discusses his memoir, “From Kristallnacht to Watergate.” The ceremony is free and open to the community.
