The Atlanta Police Department has released video of an individual they want to question in the armed robbery and kidnapping of a Buckhead resident in the early morning hours of Sept. 11.
According to the police report, officers responded to to 3246 Mathieson Rd NE on a residential robbery at 1:30 a.m. The victim, a 35-year-old male, advised that he had just arrived home, parked his vehicle on the street and was exiting the vehicle when three males approached him. One suspect was armed with a shotgun and the victim was forced him into their vehicle (an orange Dodge Neon). The suspects took the victim to two ATM’s and two gas stations where they forced him to withdraw a total of $700.
The suspects then returned the victim to his residence where they went inside and forced the victim to write them a personal check for $2,500 and took the victim’s 2000 dark green Honda Civic. The suspects then put the victim back in the vehicle and took him to 2900 Peachtree St NE and dropped him off unharmed.
The video above depicts one of the individuals involved that investigators wish to identify. He is the male wearing green camouflage patterned pants and a dark T-shirt with a white design on the chest.
