The rapper known as “Young Thug” was arrested July 15 and charged with terroristic threats for threatening to shoot a security guard in the face July 7 at Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody, police say.
Jeffery Lamar Williams, the 22-year-old’s legal name, will be booked into DeKalb County Jail, Dunwoody Police Department spokesman Officer Timothy Fecht said. The charges resulted from a “dispute that Mr. Williams had with Perimeter Mall security,” Fecht said.
The US Marshals assisted in making an arrest at Williams’ home in Sandy Springs.
