The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta’s nationally accredited preschool, The Weinstein School, in Dunwoody, has recently been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement , a non-governmental, voluntary agency.

The school’s director, Kim Sucan, said in a press release that she is thrilled about the new accreditation.

“With this accreditation, The Weinstein School now holds both NAEYC and SACS accreditation— the highest-level that an early learning school can receive, and it ensures that The Weinstein School meets high standards for early learning, development and care,” Sucan said.

Sucan said the SACS accreditation process shows the school’s commitment to support the growth and development of its preschoolers, in “a culture of continuous improvement that engages leaders, staff and parents.”

In addition to receiving the SACS CASI accreditation, the MJCCA is introducing a comprehensive, wellness-based curriculum, the school said in a press release.
