Q: Why are you running for this office?

A: I am running for this office in order to keep serving my community through the City Council. I know that my skills and experience will help us to tackle some of the mounting issues that come with a growing city. I have been an advocate for many in our community and see this as an extension of that service. My dedication to my neighbors in the district will add to our ability to constructively get things accomplished.

Q: Why should the voters choose you?

A: The best leaders are those with a willingness to serve and lead by example, and I have demonstrated these characteristics throughout my career. I am honest and hard working, loyal and dependable. It is a natural ability of mine to create a workable solution, even when having to navigate pessimistic attitudes. Also, I am able to establish a positive rapport with others and this will be a beneficial resource to create strong associations profitable to the city. I have years of legislative and policy experience on both the national and state level that will be a credit to the City Council. Besides bringing valuable national- and statewide-established networks, my organizational abilities will serve as an asset to the systems we will maintain and develop on the City Council.  The teams that I have built have promoted stable working relationships resulting in successful outcomes. I am easily accessible and will be available to my constituents, able to meet them when the issues arise, not when it is “best” for my schedule. For these reasons, I believe I am the best candidate.

Q: If elected, what’s the first thing you want to accomplish in office?

A: The first thing I would like to accomplish in office is to build the best rapport possible with every district household to better access their concern and find positive solutions to address them on a broader scale.

Q: What do you see as the biggest problem facing the district you seek to represent?

A: The biggest problem facing my district is the traffic gridlock caused by people who do not live or work in Sandy Springs but pass through to get to another destination. This problem is magnified by the transportation issues facing the state. The solutions would be mutually beneficial.
