Previous community service experience: 40+ years as watchdog for my community; helped procure a library and new drinking water service; helped block unwanted businesses, roads, and annexation in neighborhoods.

Q: Why should the voters choose you for this position?

A: My formal education and work experience in business management and accounting has equipped me to manage day-to-day operations, analyze budgets, and manage resources. My formal education and work experience in juvenile and criminal justice will reduce crime and bring our police force out of the 1930s and 1940s to present day policing.

Q: What is the biggest issue facing the constituents you seek to represent? How will you address that issue?

A: DeKalb’s constituents face a government that can’t be trusted. Kickbacks and other deceptive practices have drained budgeted funds with no benefits to DeKalb citizens. I will have transparency and make it known how much it cost and how it is going to benefit all DeKalb citizens.

Q: What’s the first thing you hope to accomplish after taking office next year?

Budget and police reform.
