Volunteers participating in the city of Brookhaven’s 2018 Stream Cleanup Event on Nov. 3 removed more than 700 pounds of trash and 20 tires from the North Fork Peachtree Creek near Briarwood Road in approximately two hours.
The cleanup is part of readying for the expected groundbreaking next month of the Peachtree Creek Greenway.
