The city has lifted a boil-water advisory that affected a large area of the Atlanta, including parts of southern Buckhead, since Dec. 3.

The boil-water notice went out due to repairs being made at the Hemphill treatment plant, where pump problems have caused a water outage or low water pressure. The Atlanta Department of Watershed Management said that tests showed the water in the system is not contaminated and can be used as usual.
