Sandy Springs’ Lost Corner Preserve park is marking Georgia Arbor Day with a walk-and-talk about water quality and a tree-planting.

Each household that attends the free program, scheduled for Feb. 18, 10 a.m. to noon, will receive seedlings to plant at home.

Georgia Arbor Day is officially observed on Feb. 21.

The program will be held at the park’s pavilion, 7300 Brandon Mill Road, Sandy Springs. Walk-ins are welcome and the program is for ages 10 and older. For more information, call 770-790-5600 or see registration.sandyspringsga.gov.
